You have so much heart, I know you will be able to follow through on that.

As for true family - is your husband's mom as awesome as she sounds from this post? Maybe you can get closer to her, soak up some motherly wisdom & support like you deserve to have and aren't getting elsewhere.

I honestly don't know if this applies directly to pregnancy, but a lot of research has shown that an overweight person who is physically active can be just as healthy as a "normal" weight person who doesn't move. You shouldn't try to lose weight while you're pregnant, but you can exercise moderately. That way you can make "healthy" gains even if you aren't making "weight loss" gains.

I do know that aerobic (cardio) exercise stimulates blood vessel production, including in the placenta - so baby gets better circulation. I have a link about the research somewhere, I'll try to find it for you.Tempesthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17231346516896123249noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8685920584608990099.post-70689962699174142582012-03-23T02:52:15.185+01:002012-03-23T02:52:15.185+01:00Congratualtions! It doesn't sound like you got the emotional feedback from your family that you would have liked, but don't let that take away from the wonderful moment of experiencing your pregnancy. I was overweight with my last baby, and I was concerned about gestational diabetes. Thankfully, I never got it, but it was on my mind. I just encourage you to eat right and not overly stress your weight. Everyone says that even overweight women should not diet during their pregnancies, just be more careful about the food choices you make. Have fun and good luck!blessedmamahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09281648597707759434noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8685920584608990099.post-44320417243087344892012-03-23T01:04:52.573+01:002012-03-23T01:04:52.573+01:00I'm still dancing XD

Take this opportunity to learn to take care of yourself like you say, by eating healthy and staying active - you'll do great Kitty! I know Jillian Michaels did some podcasts on pregnancy on The Jillian Michaels Show (you can download it free from iTunes if you don't already know it) - they seemed to be very useful:) Take care of yourself and the little one xx <3
PS: thank you so much! :)sleepwalkerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09105362069543173141noreply@blogger.com
