C25k pt.2!

Thanks to Seeking Something Else and Claire for wanting to do this with me - I have made a page where we can update and rant :)

5k!

I don't know if anyone remembers, but my work is the one of the sponsors for this running thing each year.. I did register for it last year, but then I found out that I was pregnant and never got started on the training for it.. 

This year is another story - the run is scheduled for 11th of May and I really want to try to attend the 5K run.. This means that I have around 3,5 months to get ready for it.. (This is way more time that I had the last time) - and I think I am going to put it as my first fitness goal.. 

I am going to start the C25K program (yet again) and see how it goes.. I was wondering - is anyone else planning to do some sort of running, and maybe wants to start the program with me? (I need all the motivation I can get).. 

Oh and I also e-mail my work - we have the right to get 1500sek that is around 250 dollars from our work for their "stay healthy" sponsorship plan to pay for gym ect. Last year I used it to pay for my lamaze classes.. Anywho - I mailed and asked if they will sponsor and pay for a gym membership while I am on my leave.. So fingers crossed - if I get a positive answer from them I will register to this gym close to out home as well.. I hope to be able to sneak of to it couple of nights while hubby is with the kid (I really need some kid-free time) - so we will see how it goes.. If they don't I will still have the running :)

Hola..

I think I have catched up on all your blogs :) 
I got on the scale yesterday morning - and I have gained 200 grams - that is around 0.4 lbs - and I must say I am really glad cause I felt so bloated and I was scared I had gained ALOT.. So I take the 0.4 lbs with a smile.. 

Work has been insane - and I have been very tired. But I am starting to feel a tad less tired cause I have been getting more sleep. 

Since yesterday I have been trying to keep it low carb. Yesterday I messed up my dinner so I had some of hubbys so it messed it a tad up - but I don't mind. Today I did good :) and I am planning my meals for the rest of the week as we speak. 

I am going to weigh-in on Friday, before we leave for hubbys competitions. I think I will be able to get some online time while we are away, but if I don't I will be back next Monday again. 

Aaannnddd I am starting the proper traning for the 5k. I am really looking forward to it.. And I am thinking about giving my self some proper reward when I complete the run :) will see.. 

Going out for a jog now before it gets too late..

5k...

Just signed for my first 5K! 

My job is the sponsor of the event and it is going to happen 5th of May!!! Just enough time for me to train.. 

I even got my number :D Sooo yaaay!!!!

Sore....

I know .. This is very very very pathetic but my whole body is sore.. I have been exercising, but nothing I would put in the "proper" exercise section. Slightly over 30 mins on WiiFit plus - and mostly doing the step - jogging and boxing sessions.. For some reason I am all sore specially in my back and arms..

Would you count jogging in place, as jogging? - Anywho - I guess the main point is that I am moving and can feel it.. Way too well lol..

Food wise it's been fine.. I think I ate a tad too much yesterday.. My nets have been around 1000 calories which is fine with me - since my goal is 1200. Talking about goals.. I am going to talk numbers.. I am aiming to burn 1500 calories through exercises - which seems to be doable.. I am up to 778 calories burned this week. According to MFP I would need to eat 1280 calories to lose 2 lbs a week.. Me taking it down to 1200, makes it 2.2 lbs a week... The 1500 = l lbs a week.. So if everything goes as it is supposed to - and if my body behaves as planned.. I should be losing around 3 lbs a week. There is 8 whole weeks left until the trip to Chamonix - which means I should be able to lose those 20 and some more with no problem..

I think this is the first time ever I have some proper - doable - healthy - weight loss goals..

I was trying to talk to hubby about it last night - and as soon as I started he said "3 lbs a week is too much" and blabla - so I got cranky and didn't bother to keep talking about it. I think it's healthy numbers - and for him to shut it down so fast - is sort of annoying.. I mean - if I was 100 lbs lighter - then ya ..  I would agree.. But I'm not.. So I don't understand the fuss to be honest..

I have a question for the runners.. 
I am not one (as you guys know) - but I want to become one and I would like to start the C25k.. My problem is however the weather.. It is pretty cold now.. - no snow - but some rain and a whole lot of wind.. The wind has been very very strong..
I live not that far from a great park with loads of running trails - and I really want to start the program running outside (running on the treadmill freaks me out) .. I do have a pair of good running shoes - and normal gym cloths.. Would you say - I can just start the program now? Or should I wait until it's warmer outside?

Please remember I am in the worst shape of my life - and jogging 10 mins in place make me all out of breath.. This is what I look like after couple mins lol 






Thanks for the comments yesterday.. The day went very very slowly all day.. I do read e-books at work.. and surf and so on - I also watch a bunch of youtube clips and so on.... But sometimes - when you have days of nothing to do - it all becomes sort of too much of the good stuff - if you know what I mean.

Lunch time hell lol

So here I was sitting and thinking "oh it's almost lunch time- mmm I am craving a burger" - and I was having an internal argue with my self about how I should just ignore it - and have my home made lunch.
Mid discussions the guys decide to order burgers... So in my dep- it's me and 10 guys.. Of those 10 are 8 having burgers - and here I am munching on my carrot sticks..
I hate the fact that I am ALWAYS surrounded by fast food at work.. I stopped having lunch at in the common room- and am having it by my desk and there is still food smells all over the place.. Now from the guys hamburgers.. Anyways.. I am eating my burgers... I might go buy a coke zero later just to have the "junk food" cravings out of my system..

Other than that.. I am tired (surprise surprise)..

Oh today we are going to the flat we bought with the guy that is going to do the renovation of the kitchen and  the bathroom for us- to have a look at the place and take some measurements. So that is exciting.

Other than that.. I am going to do another run today- didn't do anything yesterday since hubby's dad came suddenly over - and stayed for dinner and behind lol but I am looking forward to today and yes my legs are still aching since the last time hehe  :)

@ Nasimiyu : Ya I have ended up with unfriending almost all of them- most of the rest I got on "hide" so I don't get any updates on my home screen. Hehe- I got two girls left on the open stuff- one from blogger the other from MFP. If you add me - make sure to put on the note that it is you so I don't ignore the invite lol.. I am pretty much doing it with the rest of the invites I get .. *hmm feel a tad mean* ^^

@ Seeking Something Else: My first day on MFP was a binge day lol.. When I was logging it I kept remember more and more stuff I had eaten lol .. It was horrid- but on the bright side- the pain of logging it - makes it a tad easier to battle the binge.
It is ttly true that people understimate what they eat.. I know that when I started writing down everything I ate the min I had it in my mouth.. I realized how much I actually ate :S AND got more real about how I need to have more of a portion control.

OMG!!!!!!!!!

Ok So I know this is nothing compared to what most of you guys do... But I just did my first walk/jog thing EVER.....

It was only was for 15 mins.. And I felt like my heart was pounding out of my ears... BUT I did it.. So yaaay for that...

Lessons learned:
I can do it....
Do not jog too fast else you will die....
Living on the third floor SUCKS when your legs feel like jelly lol

I am so doing this again!!!!!!!

Run forrest run!

My friend Pete poked me today and started talking about running. And he showed me this site.. Kind of funny, cause I just read about it on another blog but anyways. He wanted to start doing it and I told him I could be his running pal..
We aren't going to do the actuall running together since I live in Sweden and he lives in England but more of the mental motivation part where we pick up each other and can talk to about it. The plan is actually perfect for my lunch breaks so I will start on it tomorrow ...
