  2. me as well! i'll have this a watch later. :o
all i see is lettuce and meat when i look at your eats on your tumblr page. swoon? as per breakfast, also again eggs but in a different way: eggs, feta cheese, spinach, it's very nice. very nice. that or make lettuce wrap and stuff some turkey in it. you could also eat small cheese cubes. you could easily assemble a salad in the morning as well. it'll take you less time than it would eggs. also, cucumbers and cheese. very nice combination. i'd go for cream cheese but i don't know carb content. cheddar works well as well. tofu scrambles? i'm trying to think of more ideas.
string cheeses will do. i'm not sure if you could eat nuts yet. i think you should be able to take on cheese at any phase considering that most contain practically no carbohydrates. also, change up the way you make your egg. it makes a difference. omelettes, sunny side up, only egg whites, only the yolks, experiment - add things to it. take away other things. toss hardboiled eggs in a salad. sausages as well come to mind. when it comes to meats, you could actually find a high variety and who said you just have to eat meat or chicken? fish!!!! prawns.
i think i've gone a full on rant here sorry xD

  5. I LOVED Fat Head! America is so crazy obsessed with low fat. When I hear the kids (the younger college students) raving about Supersize Me, I tell them not to talk to me until they've seen Fat Head.

I heard Sweden (I think? Somewhere Scandinavian) has even endorsed low carb dieting now?

You are SO right, when you are hungry, just eat what is allowed. Don't deprive yourself, least of all while you are transitioning. It helps to be able to eat SOMETHING, even if it's not specifically what you're craving. Vanilla protein shakes help me when I am craving something sweet, and you can find some pretty low carb ones.

You should check out lovehealthlift on Tumblr, she's been doing LCHF/ketogenic dieting for a few months now. She's doing really well, and has posted a lot of resources.

  6. Well. It made me want to cut the carbs. But I don't eat much fat or protein, so carbohydrates is almost the only source of energy I can get.
